Screed Systems
Screeded systems are the most popular in New Build developments. Specialist underfloor heating pipe is clipped to a layer of insulation, a layer of screed is then applied on top. The heated pipes heat the whole flooring area as one, to provide an effective and consistent heat output.
CALDA TACK SYSTEM
Calda Tack is our go to system for screeded floor build up's.
Calda Tack consists of high quality 5 layer PE-RT underfloor heating pipework, tacked onto insulation panels using 60mm tacker clips. A layer of liquid or cement screed can then be applied on top.
This is the most suitable system for screeded new build projects. It produces a high heat output, whilst remaining cost effective.
CALDA CLIP SYSTEM
Calda Clip is one of our the most popular underfloor heating systems as it provides a quick, flexible and effective form of heating within a screeded floor build up.
These systems consist of pipes clipped in to rails and laid over the insulated subfloor.
Once in place, concrete can be laid directly on top of the pipework.
We recommend that screeding takes place shortly after installation to avoid pipework damage.
